BrewCraft Russian Imperial Stout
As Barley Wine is to Pale Ale, so is Imperial Stout to standard Stout. Higher usage rates of all ingredients, plus added brewing sugar to boost alcoholic strength without weighing down an already heavy beer results in the ultimate malt-bomb. Originally brewed for the Tsars and aristocrats of Russia by English brewers, it’s fully intended to warm your insides on the coldest of St. Petersburg (or Bismarck, Buffalo, or Bozeman) nights. Give this beer PLENTY of time to mellow; it’ll be jagged and unruly for the first couple of months after brewing. But then it settles in for the long haul; this beer will continue to improve for years.
